Our Story

At our Suffolk-based home, our passion for animals shines through in everything we do. Specializing in both smooth and long-haired miniature dachshunds, we have cultivated a nurturing environment for our loving companions. Our journey began in early 2020 with our first dachshund, Spencer, and since then, our family has grown to 14 adorable sausages. With Georgie's expertise as a dog groomer and growing up breeding dogs, a deep connection with animals has been formed through her life. Reece has a passion for dogs and always had a dream to be surrounded by animals. With the enormous amounts of love that each of our dachshunds receive, we give the utmost care and attention, reflecting our deep love for these wonderful animals.

About Us

In 2020, Reece and Georgie welcomed their first dachshund, Spencer, into their lives. Instantly smitten with the breed's unique charm and playful spirit, they quickly realized that not all breeders had the best intentions. They discovered that some were prioritizing diluted colors and incorrect posture over the health and well-being of the dogs. Determined to make a positive impact, Reece and Georgie set out on a mission to find the perfect for Spencer, laying the groundwork for a responsible breeding program that would prioritize the breed's integrity and health. Reece and Georgie fell deeper in love with the dachshund breed, they found themselves irresistibly drawn to adding a new puppy to their family every few months. By late 2021, their passion had blossomed into an impressive pack of eight lively dachshunds. With their growing furry family, it became clear that a new home was essential. Moving at the end of 2021, Reece and Georgie embarked on a mission to renovate their new house, ensuring it was perfectly suited to accommodate their beloved dogs and the future puppies they hoped to welcome. Nellie and Spencer's journey took beautiful turn as they welcomed a confirmed pregnancy after settling into their new home. The joy was multiplied when Nellie gave birth to four adorable shorthair dachshunds. With tears of in their eyes, Reece and Georgie couldn't resist keeping the first chocolate dapple born, whom they lovingly named Sage. This new addition to their family brought endless joy and excitement into their lives. It's hard to believe that two years have flown by since Sage welcomed her first litter. Now, we proudly have pack of 14 dachshunds, showcasing both long-haired and smooth-haired varieties, all excellent representatives of the breed. We are dedicated to continuing our legacy of breeding the finest Miniature Dachshunds for years to come!

Miniature dachshunds are charming and loving dogs known for their long bodies and short legs. They were originally bred in Germany for hunting small game, particularly badgers, which is reflected in their adventurous and curious nature. These dogs are typically affectionate and loyal companions, making them great family pets. In terms of diet, miniature dachshunds require a balanced and nutritious food that caters to their size and energy levels. Their coat types can vary; they come in three main varieties: smooth, longhaired, wirehaired, each offering a unique texture and appearance. The true colours of miniature dachshunds can range from solid shades of Chocolate, red and black complimented with deep tan markings, to more intricate patterns such as dapple and brindle, showcasing their diverse beauty.
